I am pretty scroungy most of the time-minimal makeup and whatever maternity jeans I can find that are clean. So when I dressed up a little for a night out with the girls, I had Shawn get a picture of me at 36 weeks.
I'm really ready to go and am so curious if we'll follow "statistics for second babies" and go a little early (I'm due May 28th). Of course every pregnant lady wants to go early, and I'm mentally prepared to go past my due date like I did with Wilder.
Still it's nice to hope.
My weekly visits start next week. I like going that often because it means we are very close. I also have a friend watching Wilder so I have a little time to go to the appointment and just relax.
The most discomforting things at this point are heartburn, difficulty breathing (scary), some ankle/foot swelling, pelvic pressure, and lack of sleep. It's also really hard to bend down/over and to get around in general. Botanica was probably our last big outing; it wore me out.
On a happier note, we're so excited to learn the gender and memorize this sweet baby's face. Wilder has seen the new crib and car seat and I'm sure he keeps wondering where the baby is who will fill each. He's going to be so proud!
Hallelujah for a concern-free, normal pregnancy! Almost done!

Im hearing you on the heartburn. When the twin were in-utero I had it bad. Was skulling milk like there was no tomorrow.
You look gorgeous.
What you know the gender???
I cant wait to see this sweet baby. In pics of course.
You look radiant!
Can't wait to see photos of the lovely little new one.
You look lovely :)
I had really bad heartburn for my whole pregnancy, plus I have asthma so at the end I could barely breathe at all!
You look great! Just FYI - my second (and third) was late just like my first. So, if you need some sympathy, you know who to call!! :) Let me know if you need anything.
Lisa--by "learn gender" I mean we will learn the gender at the time of birth, and that's something we're so giddy about!
The surprise of a lifetime!
GOR-GEOUS Mindy! Oh how I wish I had looked as radiant at 36 weeks, my goodness! Glad you are in the wee-last weeks and so excited to see this beautiful little one!
I was in target and saw the cutest owl stuff for a girls room. I thought of you. (kind of weird I suppose since I only know you by blog!) So if you have a girl, keep that in mind. The owl pillow & lamp were too cute.

Good luck with the last month of pregnancy!
I cant believe you are so close! I hope we are still here for the birth! By the way, I love that shirt where did you get it?? Hopefully we will see you next weekend.
All ya'all are too kind. That was me with makeup..normally I am very frazzled-looking!
