mmmmmmm. I am definitely going to have to try this!
Fall makes me think of apples and pumpkins! We made applesauce yesterday - SO good!
Those sound yummy, I will have to try them! By the way, there is a crop this weekend in Salina. All day Saturday, cost is $5. You are all welcome to come if you are interested in going to the crop!
Yummy! I love baking with pumpkin in the Fall!!
Here's a recipe for some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies I made a few weekends ago that turned out really good. . .
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups pumpkin
3/4 cup canola oil (I use olive oil instead)
1 1/2 egg
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp milk
1 cup chocolate chips (we like dark chocolate)
Directions:
Dissolve baking soda and baking powder into wet/soft ingredients. Add remaining dry ingredients. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. May want to slightly cool dough for a few minutes in freezer to make it easier to work with. Spoon onto cookie sheet with tablespoon.
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Makes 35 medium-sized cookies.
Sister,
those sound yummy! Except I might have to add some cream cheese frosting or something...hehehe!
Danielle-
I made those cookies tonight...very good. I am taking them to a work lunch tomorrow!
I made those muffins for my work colleagues. They were a success!
